About

Located on the ground floor of The Terminal at Katy Trail, Rose Café is the more casual version of its upscale next door neighbor sister restaurant Le PasSage.

Inspired by The Terminal’s on-site rose garden, Rose Café charms with its covered, open-air patio with expansive views of the Katy Trail. With its green-and-white-striped banquettes and green-tiled bar, the cafe exudes a fresh, contemporary atmosphere. While its trailside vistas suggest nature, Rose Café’s vibe is one of urban sophistication.

Like the fine dining Le PasSage, Rose Café’s menu is inspired by Asian cuisines shaped by French cooking technique. From breakfast through dinner, the inviting indoor-outdoor restaurant easily transitions throughout the day as a social hub for the Katy Trail neighborhood, welcoming joggers, bicyclists, nature lovers, retail shoppers, families and serious foodies.

Under the direction of Travis Street Hospitality’s culinary director Bruno Davaillon, Rose Café executive chef Sotear Tep has created menus as bright and tempting as the space itself.

Breakfast items include a variety of pastries to accompany a broad selection of coffee, tea and fresh-pressed juices. Morning selections are rounded out by quinoa and granola bowls, avocado toast, congee rice porridge with poached egg and chicken and lemongrass coconut chia pudding with fresh fruit.

Lunch options include Asian chicken salad, papaya salad with peanuts and tamarind sauce, spicy beef salad with chili lime dressing, Japanese sandos, coconut rice noodle bowl with fried spring rolls, pork shoulder bao bun, summer rolls with lemongrass shrimp or tofu, and Cambodian lemongrass beef skewers with pickled vegetables.

The dinner menu delves deeper into Asian flavors with the addition of shrimp toast, chicken satay with peanut sauce, shrimp and pork dumplings, and five spice ribs.

The accompanying beverage menu includes a selection of sake, Asian beer, and specialty cocktails such as Frozen Lychee, Frozen Paloma, Lucky Cat (oolong tea-infused whiskey, campari, pineapple and orgeat), Kung Fu Pandan (pandan-infused vodka, gin, lemon and coconut), and House of Dragons (reposado tequila, rye, amaro and dragon fruit).

Founded by restaurateurs Stephan Courseau and Daniele Garcia, Travis Street Hospitality’s first Dallas restaurant, Le Bilboquet, introduced the company’s signature of fine dining grounded in French technique. With chef and culinary director, Bruno Davaillon and managing partner, Edward Goemans, the hospitality group has successfully built a collection of restaurants concentrated in the Knox District neighborhood that includes Knox Bistro, Georgie, and its adjacent Georgie Butcher Shop. The restaurant portfolio exemplifies Travis Street’s commitment to flawless cuisine and service as well as its position as an important, influential player on the city’s dining scene.
